Yes this is real. We are playing with funnyman/musician/hair-model/beatbox/comic-chameleon, Reggie Watts, Tuesday, June 9th.

We had the pleasure of heading down to El Cid the other night, which happens to be the venue that booked the first TPK show, and caught a magical night of spontaneity with Reggie Watts and his Late Late Show Band. Reggie has been quietly relishing in a discreet residency every Tuesday night at El Cid, but most people don't know about it because he's going under the absurd pseudonym 'Reggie And Karen' in an overt attempt to subvert his celebrity. It was everything we expected and a million times more; his band of players laying the grooves left his sponge-like mind free to wring improvisation all over the grinning onlookers.

So you can imagine our excitement when we were asked to play before the up and coming band 'Reggie And Karen.'

"Of course!" We said. "All of our dreams are coming true," we added. This is also the first concert we have played in the time since our focus has been on getting this record made, so you better believe that this will recalibrate your expectations of what our live show can be.
